The UNEX 5000 family of Telephone Entry Systems from AMTEL represents the ultimate in technology, features and integration with Access Control, Gate Control and Elevator Control systems. The Telephone Entry Units are available with memory capacity ranging from 50 units to 2000 units. It uses a four line alphanumeric display that uses large letters and is backlit for easy viewing at all times. The unique scroll keypad is "Touch sensitive" with large color coded keys divided into two separate groups for Visitors and Residents/Regulars. Visitors simply scroll through the directory of names using the Up/Down touch keys. As soon as they find the resident name, they simply press the "Dial" key. (Most competitive systems give a 3 digit number that has to be entered by the visitor!).

Residents or regulars can enter their 4-digit pass-code or a 3-digit Tele Entry code for fast access. Built-in long range proximity reader that will read a card from approximately 10" away is also available as is the built-in CCTV camera that can be interfaced with the building's cable TV system. Elevator control and most other features are also available.

The Tele Entry unit is available in a Wall Mount or Pedestal Mount housing or a standalone Tower unit that can be customized to match the colors of the location. The re-enforced fiberglass design is rustproof, easy to maintain, and, will look just as new even after years of use.

Programming this Tele Entry can be done over the phone line from a Windows based PC program or the panel can also be connected over a TCP/.IP network as part of an extensive access control system.
