AMTEL successfully completes installation of RFID tracking for fleet of vehicles in Middle East

AMTEL has installed for a major contractor in United Arab Emirates (Al-Jaber) Active RFID tags on all equipment in its large fleet with controls at 14 different entrances and exits throughout the country. Since Al-Jaber is involved in large earth-moving projects, they use large and complex machinery that is transported on specialized flat-bed trucks. Each such truck may hold up to 5 different pieces of equipment, each of which has an individual tag. The system at each entrance tracks all the equipment on the vehicle and keeps a nationwide inventory of the status and availability of these pieces of equipment. The system uses an industrial metal tag with a 5 year battery life. Each entrance has multiple readers ensuring that all the tags on the passing vehicles in lanes that are up to 24 feet wide are read.

AMTEL to install a complete Integrated System for Residents & Visitors

AMTEL and FocusMicro Inc. have joined hands to provide a system that integrates Access Control, Vehicle Gate Entry Control System, Telephone entry with built-in CCTV Camera and Elevator Control System effectively with the use of Proximity Cards and RFID Tags. Residents will have Proximity Card to enter in to the building and get access to doors inside the building. Residents entering the building from the street level lobby (walk-ups) will present their access card to the reader at the exterior doors to gain access to the main lobby. The same Proximity Card will also allow residents to gain entry or exit to garage while they are on foot. Residents will also have RFID Tag which has unique identification number; these RFID Tags will give hands free vehicle entry and exit to garage. The system also incorporates Tele Entry controlling Elevator Cab for visitors and guests. For more information on the complete system email us.
