Defense sites have critical equipments and storage houses spread over a wide area. Special vehicles transport critical equipments; arms and ammunitions from one location to another on need basis. RF-ID tags can be affixed to the equipments and their movements tracked using the RF-ID System installed at strategic location within the premises. Employees can also carry the tags in person and the same RF-ID System is capable of tracking them. Tags can be affixed to trucks/jeeps. RF-ID Reader installed at critical locations can track their locations. Drivers can carry the RF-ID tags in person. The RF-ID Reader will read the tag affixed on the vehicle and the tag carried by the driver. Valid combination of both the tags will allow the vehicle to enter prohibited zones.

The RFID tags can be affixed on cases and pallets at a military depot to keep track of the food as it arrives at the military installation and is shipped to soldiers in the field. Active Tags have sensors integrated in them to transmit the environmental storage conditions of food items. The RF-ID system can be easily networked to a common accessing zone using Wire line or Wireless devices.
