Business organizations have fixed assets that include IT equipments, Furniture etc. These equipments need to be constantly tracked by the management to avoid them from getting stolen or misplaced. Using the RF-ID based solution; management is able to automate asset identification & tracking within the premises. Expensive equipments like Laptops, Photocopiers, Computers and Fax machines are tagged using RF-ID Tags. The RF-ID System installed at strategic locations reads the tags when the equipments are moved from one location to another within the organization. The tag IDs are compared with the Ids stored in the system database. The system only allows the movement of the tagged items from one zone to another on detection of valid tag. The system can be configured to read & check Single Parameter or Dual Parameters as per the requirements of the application.

In Single parameter check, the system can be used to track employees carrying tags in person. The same system can also be configured to check movement of equipments affixed with RF-ID tags. The system provides real time location of employees or equipments within the premises.

In Dual Parameter check, the system is configured to use two parameters to allow movement asset/equipment within the premises. The equipment is tagged while the person authorized to handle the equipment carries a RF-ID tag in person. The system looks for a valid man-machine combination in its database to allow the movement of the person with the asset through the doors.
